Kicker Zach Hocker, offensive lineman Maurice Hurt, cornerback Chase Minnifield, safety Phillip Thomas, wide receiver Nick Williams and linebacker Everette Brown were also let go.

Two players -- defensive end Stephen Bowen and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson -- were placed on the physically unable to perform list, while nose tackle Chris Neild and linebacker Darryl Sharpton were placed on the reserve/injured list.
