Saints' Ingram out vs. Minnesota

Sep 19, 2014 - 10:57 PM Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Ingram, who broke his hand in Sunday's loss to Cleveland, did not practice at all this week and will be sidelined for at least a month.

Ingram had been getting the bulk of the carries through New Orleans' first two games, recording 143 yards on 24 carries for three touchdowns. The Saints will turn to Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson for increased production.

Safety Marcus Ball (hamstring), linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle) were also ruled out.

Center Jonathan Goodwin (elbow), linebackers Kyle Knox (ankle) and Curtis Lofton (shoulder) and wide receiver Joe Morgan (knee) are all probable, while center/guard Tim Lelito (back) is questionable.
