Buccaneers FB Lane suspended two games

Oct 15, 2014 - 3:41 PM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers fullback Jorvorskie Lane was suspended two games on Wednesday for violating the league's performance enhancing substances policy.

Lane will begin serving his suspension immediately and will be eligible to return to Tampa Bay's active roster on Nov. 3 following the team's matchup with Cleveland.

The two-year veteran has played in all six games this season, rushing for 56 yards on two carries, the bulk of which came on a 54-yard run against Carolina in Week 1.

Tampa Bay signed cornerback Isaiah Frey to fill the open roster spot.

Frey, who was waived by Chicago last week, made 47 tackles in 16 games (six starts) last season. He appeared in three games this season and recorded 12 tackles and a fumble recovery.
