Redskins activate DE Bowen
Oct 18, 2014 - 9:55 PM Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins activated defensive end Stephen Bowen on Saturday and placed linebacker Akeem Jordan on injured reserve with a knee injury.Bowen had microfracture surgery on his right knee in December and last played in a regular-season game on Nov. 17 against Philadelphia.
The ninth-year veteran has started all 42 games he has appeared in with the Redskins since being signed as a free agent in August 2011, collecting 85 tackles and seven sacks.
Jordan was signed in March after six seasons with Philadelphia and one with Kansas City. He had one tackle in two games.
