Bills RB Spiller has surgery
Oct 20, 2014 - 8:07 PM Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone confirmed that running back C.J. Spiller underwent surgery Monday to repair a broken clavicle. However, Marrone didn't provide an update on his condition moving forward.
"We'll wait and see what the doctor says," he said.
Spiller was injured in the second quarter of Sunday's 17-16 win over Minnesota. He came down hard on his left shoulder at the end of a 53-yard run, his lone carry of the game.
Marrone also wouldn't give a timetable on how long running back Fred Jackson will be sidelined. Jackson suffered a groin injury in the first quarter against the Vikings and Monday told a radio station in Buffalo that his injury could force him to miss up to a month.
No one has shouted yet.
