Jets' Ryan fined $100K for profanity
Nov 15, 2014 - 1:26 PM (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Jets coach Rex Ryan was fined $100,000 by the NFL for a profane outburst that followed Sunday's game against Pittsburgh and was caught on video. After the Jets closed out their 20-13 win to end an eight-game losing streak, Ryan was shown on the TV broadcast apparently yelling, "(Expletive) you!" to someone as he walked onto the field.
It's unclear who Ryan's target was. He later expressed frustration that the Steelers rushed Michael Vick while the Jets quarterback kneeled to run out the clock at the end of the game.
Ryan was fined twice in the past for public obscenities and was considered by the NFL to be a repeat offender.
No one has shouted yet.
