Saints place Bunkley on injured reserve
Nov 27, 2014 - 9:23 PM Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints placed defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley on season-ending injured reserve Thursday.The ninth-year pro out of Florida State posted 17 tackles in 11 games for the Saints this season, his third with the franchise. He suffered a leg injury in Monday's loss to Baltimore that was serious enough to sideline him through the end of the year.
To fill the roster spot, New Orleans elevated nose tackle Lawrence Virgil from the practice squad to the active roster.
