Bucs place Magee on IR, sign Williams
Dec 8, 2014 - 8:08 PM Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed Brandon Magee on injured reserve Monday and signed fellow linebacker Jason Williams, who was waived by the Carolina Panthers last week.Magee appeared in nine games with the Panthers this season after playing in eight as a rookie for Cleveland last year. He was hurt during a kickoff return in Sunday's loss to Detroit.
Williams, 28, had four tackles in 11 games for the Panthers this season. He has also played for Philadelphia and Dallas since the Cowboys drafted him in the third round in 2009.
