Panthers' Williams out again
Dec 14, 2014 - 5:32 PM Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams will miss his second straight game because of a broken bone in his right hand.Williams was among the Panthers' inactives for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. He also missed last week's contest against New Orleans.
Jonathan Stewart is expected to start for Williams, who will miss an eighth game this season because of injuries. He had a sprained ankle earlier this year.
The Panthers, of course, are also missing quarterback Cam Newton, who had already been declared out because of injuries he suffered in a car accident on Tuesday.
