Panthers lose Lotulelei to broken foot
Jan 7, 2015 - 8:14 PM Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei will miss Saturday's NFC playoff game against Seattle because of a broken bone in his foot.Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday that Lotulelei was hurt during practice Tuesday when he stepped on another player's foot. He underwent surgery Wednesday morning.
Lotulelei, in his second NFL season, notched 25 tackles and two sacks in 14 regular-season games.
