Cardinals sign LB Woodley
Mar 10, 2015 - 7:28 PM Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Cardinals have signed linebacker Lamarr Woodley to a one-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed.
Woodley spent the 2014 season in Oakland after playing his first seven years with Pittsburgh. He helped the Steelers to a pair of Super Bowls.
The Michigan product appeared in just six games for the Raiders last season before going on injured reserve with a biceps problem in October.
Woodley, a Pro Bowl pick in 2009, has 367 career tackles with 57 sacks, nine forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries and five interceptions in 100 career games. He also has 36 tackles with 11 sacks in eight postseason games.
