Patriots sign TE Chandler

Mar 16, 2015 - 10:16 PM Foxborough, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New England Patriots signed veteran tight end Scott Chandler, the team announced Monday.

Chandler, 29, spent the last five seasons with Buffalo. Over 65 games with the Bills, he accumulated 182 catches for 2,120 yards and 17 touchdowns. San Diego drafted him in the fourth round in 2007, and he also played for Dallas before arriving in Buffalo, although he never caught a pass for the Chargers or Cowboys.

It was reported that the Ravens also had interest in Chandler before he settled on joining New England.
