Report: Steelers WR Ward won't play against Cardinals
Sep 28, 2007 - 10:20 PM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) - Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward will not play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals according to a report on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's web site.Ward, who sprained his right knee Sunday during a 37-16 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, has missed only three games in his 10-year NFL career.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Ward played in 116 consecutive games before missing time in 2005 due to a hamstring injury.
Ward has nine catches for 108 yards and a touchdown this season for the 3-0 Steelers.
