Steelers WR Ward, Cardinals WR Boldin both out

Sep 30, 2007 - 8:08 PM GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) - Both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals will be without key pieces of their offenses when they meet Sunday.

Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward will not play in the game due to a knee injury. Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin is also out with a hip injury.

Ward, who sprained his right knee last Sunday during a 37-16 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, has missed only three games in his 10-year NFL career.

A four-time Pro Bowler, Ward played in 116 consecutive games before missing time in 2005 due to a hamstring injury.

Ward has nine catches for 108 yards and a touchdown this season for the 3-0 Steelers.

Boldin has 22 receptions for 286 yards and three TDs in three games for the Cardinals, who will also be without right tackle Levi Brown (ankle).
