Report: Cowboys WR Crayton likely to miss game vs. Jets

Nov 22, 2007 - 12:02 AM DALLAS (Ticker) -- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton's sprained right ankle will make him a game-time decision for the Thursday's game against the New York Jets, according to the team's web site Wednesday.

Crayton suffered the injury during the first quarter of Sunday's 28-23 win over the Washington Redskins. The four-year veteran stayed in the game and caught two passes for 16 yards, but has missed the past two days of practice.

Crayton said he plans to test his ankle before the 4:15 EST kickoff.

"I'd say I'll be a game-time decision," Crayton told the web site. "But I'm just not sure right now. It doesn't really look good."

Crayton, who has 33 catches for 482 yards and five touchdowns, will be replaced by second-year wideout Sam Hurd.

Hurd has 10 catches for 169 yards and one touchdown this season.
