Texans QB Schaub dislocated shoulder

Dec 3, 2007 - 3:49 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) - Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub left Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a dislocated left shoulder.

Schaub was hurt with 3:11 to play in the first quarter when he was sacked by defensive end Antwan Odom.

After kneeling on the ground for several minutes, Schaub was taken to the locker room.

Houston coach Gary Kubiak said it is too early to determine is the injury will end Schaub's season.

However, the Texans also lost guard Fred Weary (fractured right tibia) and center Chris White (MCL in left knee). Kubiak expects both to be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

"I think there is a little bit of hope for our quarterback," Kubiak said. "This may not be a season-ending injury, but it is for Fred and I think it is for Chris White. So we will go from there."

Ironically, Schaub also was injured in the first meeting.

Sage Rosenfels replaced Schaub and finished 17-of-30 for 185 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
