Chargers QB Rivers leaves with injury
Dec 9, 2007 - 7:44 PM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers left Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a sprained left knee.Rivers was hit in the knee area following a handoff with 10:47 to play in the third quarter. He tried to limp off the field but fell to the ground.
Billy Volek, a former Titan, replaced Rivers, who hobbled to the locker room shortly after the hit.
Rivers' return is listed as questionable.
