Patriots add Ventrone to active roster
Dec 23, 2007 - 12:56 AM FOXBORO, Massachusetts (Ticker) The New England Patriots on Saturday signed defensive back Ray Ventrone to their active roster from their practice squad.Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
An undrafted free agent out of Villanova, the 24-year-old Ventrone was originally signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2005.
Ventrone, who also has spent time on the practice squad of the New York Jets, has played in only one NFL game - against Indianapolis on November 4.
