Browns place Kelley, Adams on IR
Dec 24, 2007 - 7:20 PM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Browns placed nose tackle Ethan Kelley and safety Mike Adams on injured reserve Monday, ending both players' seasons.Kelley, 27, appeared in 13 games - six starts - for the Browns this year, recording 24 tackles and one sack.
Adams, 26, has 29 tackles and a sack in 15 games this season.
The Browns (9-6) currently are tied with the Tennessee Titans (9-6) for sixth place in the AFC. Cleveland needs Tennessee to lose next week to secure the conference's second wild card.
