Browns sign QB Dorsey to extension
Dec 26, 2007 - 10:19 PM CLEVELAND (Ticker) - The Cleveland Browns on Wednesday signed quarterback Ken Dorsey to a three-year contract extension.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Dorsey, who has appeared in 13 games for the San Francisco 49ers and the Browns during his three-year career, has completed 171 of 317 passes for 1,712 yards with eight touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Dorsey, 26, is the No. 3 quarterback for the Browns, behind starter Derek Anderson and rookie Brady Quinn.
"We are glad to get this done with Ken (Dorsey)," Browns general manager Phil Savage said. "Ken has been a vital part of our offensive production this year and we look forward to having him as part of our team going forward."
