Texans' Davis has two TD returns

Dec 30, 2007 - 7:50 PM HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Andre Davis of the Houston Texans on Sunday became the seventh player in NFL history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game.

Davis achieved the milestone on back-to-back kickoff returns against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The sixth-year wide receiver went 97 yards with 15 seconds to play in the first half to give the Texans a 21-14 lead.

Davis did the previous return one better, taking the second-half kickoff 104 yards. It was his third kickoff return for a score this season and fourth career.

The last player to return a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns in a game was the Chicago Bears' Devin Hester, who accomplished the feat against the St. Louis Rams on December 11, 2006.
