Saints QB Brees sets completion mark
Dec 30, 2007 - 8:06 PM CHICAGO (Ticker) -- New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees set an NFL record for most completions in a season in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.Brees completed his 419th pass of the season in the second quarter, surpassing the previous mark held by Rich Gannon with the Oakland Raiders in 2002.
In his second season with New Orleans, Brees has had back-to-back 4,000-yard campaigns and led the Saints to the NFC championship game last season.
