DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Miami Dolphins' invasion of the Dallas Cowboys' coaching and personnel ranks continued on Tuesday, according to a published report.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that former Cowboys secondary coach Todd Bowles is joining the Dolphins to become the team's assistant coach and linebackers coach Paul Pasqualoni will be named the defensive coordinator.

Dallas defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers has also been offered to join Miami in the same capacity, but has yet to accept. If Rodgers leaves, only two Dallas defensive assistants would remain from last season's team.

The contracts of all three coaches expired on Tuesday, the first day they could negotiate with other teams.

Bill Parcells, who coached the Cowboys from 2003-2006, is the director of football operations for Miami and apparently has few reservations about raiding his former team to improve the 1-15 Dolphins quickly.

Last week, Cowboys assistant Tony Sparano was named coach of the Dolphins. Jeff Ireland, who oversaw the scouting in Dallas, was recently named general manager in Miami.

The 44-year-old Bowles was an NFL defensive back for nine seasons with the Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers.

Bowles coached three seasons in the college ranks before joining the New York Jets' staff in 2000. He spent a season with the New York Jets and worked three seasons with the Cleveland Browns before moving on to the Cowboys in 2005.

After spending 29 years at the collegiate level - including a 14-year stint as the coach at Syracuse - Pasqualoni joined Dallas as a tight ends coach in 2005 before transitioning to linebackers the next season.

Under his guidance over the last two seasons, outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware has posted 25 1/2 sacks and been selected to the Pro Bowl twice.

In addition, the Dolphins hired James Saxon as running backs coach and Evan Marcus as strength and conditioning coach.
