Bills WR Parrish arrested for DUI
Feb 17, 2008 - 6:09 PM MIAMI BEACH, Florida (Ticker) -- Buffalo Bills wide receiver Roscoe Parrish was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.Parrish, 25, was stopped at approximately 4:30 a.m. EST on Saturday, according to police spokesman Juan Sanchez. The Miami native was driving his 2005 Bentley when he was pulled over while driving on MacArthur Causeway.
Parrish was taken into custody at Miami-Dade County jail and released later Saturday on $1,000 bond.
A second-round draft selection in 2005, Parrish also attended the University of Miami. The 5-9 speedster had 35 catches for 352 yards and one touchdown for the Bills (7-9).
Parrish also maintained his status as one of the NFL's most dangerous punt returners last season, averaging a league-leading 16.3 yards on 27 attempts.
