Cowboys to be featued on "Hard Knocks"
May 7, 2008 - 5:51 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- For the second time in six years, the Dallas Cowboys will be featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks."The sports-based reality series kicks off in August and will chronicle the Cowboys preparing for the 2008 season during training camp.
"HBO's ability to develop sports and entertainment franchises is unmatched in television," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. "They commit the resources to do it the right way, and they know how to effectively reach sports fans.
"This is an opportunity for the Cowboys to bring millions of fans closer to our team and the training camp experience."
Dallas also was featured on the five-episode series in 2002.
This group of Cowboys could make for an interesting show with the likes of talkative wide receiver Terrell Owens, quarterback Tony Romo and frequent troublemakers Adam "Pacman" Jones and Tank Johnson.
Of course, Jones first must have his suspension lifted by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
No one has shouted yet.
