Chargers sign RB Thomas, T Clark
Jul 2, 2008 - 12:32 AM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- The San Diego Chargers on Tuesday signed two of their 2008 draft picks, running back Marcus Thomas and tackle Corey Clark, to four-year contracts.A fifth-round selection, Thomas rushed for 1,166 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior at Texas-El Paso. Clark, who was taken in the seventh round, was a two-year starter at Texas A&M.
San Diego still has three draft picks unsigned, including first-round choice Antoine Cason, third-round selection Jacob Hester and sixth-round pick DeJuan Tribble.
