Cardinals sign DE Campbell
Jul 21, 2008 - 10:53 PM TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Arizona Cardinals signed defensive end Calais Campbell to a four-year contract on Monday.Financial terms were not disclosed.
Campbell, 21, was selected in the second round - 50th overall - out of the University of Miami, where he recorded 50 tackles, six sacks and forced two fumbles in 2007 as a junior.
A two-year starter for the Hurricanes, Campbell was a first-team All-American selection by the NFL Draft Report, as well as being named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference.
