Cowboys acquire G Holland
Aug 28, 2008 - 6:46 PM ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (Ticker) -- The Dallas Cowboys added some depth to their offensive line Thursday, acquiring veteran guard Montrae Holland from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a fifth-round choice in the 2010 draft.Holland, a sixth-year player, joined the Broncos as an unrestricted free agent on March 5, 2007, after spending his first four seasons with the New Orleans Saints.
The 6-2, 320-pound lineman has played in 68 games - 46 starts - over his first five years in the league.
The move comes two days after the Cowboys announced left guard Kyle Kosier will miss four to six weeks with a hairline fracture in his right foot.
