Browns LB Peek out for season
Sep 4, 2008 - 5:18 PM CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Browns announced Thursday that linebacker Antwan Peek will miss the entire season with a torn patella tendon in his knee.Peek, who was entering his second season with the Browns, injured himself during Wednesday's practice on a "freak play" according to Cleveland coach Romeo Crennel.
The 6-3, 250-pound linebacker had four sacks and 19 tackles with the Browns last season.
Also a member of the Houston Texans, Peek has recorded 125 tackles and 14 sacks in 65 contests over his five-year career.
