Panthers WR Muhammad sets milestone
Sep 14, 2008 - 6:33 PM CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) - Carolina Panthers wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad went over 10,000 career yards in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.Muhammad reached the milestone with an 11-yard reception midway through the second quarter. It gave him 10,002 career receiving yards, making him the seventh active player to reach that plateau.
The 35-year-old Muhammad is in his 13th NFL season. He played his first nine seasons with the Panthers before spending the next three with the Bears.
