Patriots RB Maroney returns to practice
Sep 19, 2008 - 8:08 PM FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- New England Patriots running back Laurence Maroney, who has been slowed by a shoulder injury, returned to practice Friday.Maroney, who was injured in the second quarter last week against the New York Jets before returning late in the contest, had missed the team's last two practices. He was limited in Friday's practice session and his status for this weekend's game against Miami remains uncertain.
It has been a slow start for Maroney, who has rushed for 67 on 18 carries in the first two games.
