GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw lightly Friday and will be a game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Falcons.

Rodgers is still ailing from a sprained shoulder suffered during last weekend's 30-21 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"He feels good. His rehab has been positive," Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal. "Hopefully he feels good tomorrow."

Rodgers will likely be worked out again before Sunday's game to see if he can play.

"The strength is improving," McCarthy said. "How he responds tomorrow will probably tell the tale. I'm preparing to go either way."

If Rodgers is unable to play, rookie Matt Flynn will get the start.

A former first-round draft selection, the 24-year-old Rodgers has passed for 961 yards and six touchdowns in his first season as a starter since replacing the legendary Brett Favre, who was traded to the New York Jets.
