Gross, Otah sit out against Chiefs
Oct 5, 2008 - 5:28 PM CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) - Carolina Panthers starting tackles Jordan Gross and Jeff Otah sat out Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.Left tackle Gross missed the game with a concussion, snapping an 84-game consecutive games played streak. It was the second-longest in team history, behind Mike Minter's 91.
The Panthers also were without rookie right tackle Otah, who has a sprained right ankle.
Gross and Otah both were injured in last week's 24-9 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
