GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards suffered a concussion and was carted to the locker room early in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Edwards was hurt on the Bills' first possession when he was hit and driven to the ground by Adrian Wilson. After completing a pass to James Hardy, Edwards was drilled to the turf, landing awkwardly on his left shoulder and hitting his head on the turf.

J.P. Losman entered the game for Buffalo and lost a fumble two plays later.
