Panthers Ts Gross, Otah return to practice
Oct 9, 2008 - 6:47 PM CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Carolina Panthers offensive tackles Jordan Gross and Jeff Otah both returned to practice Thursday and could be ready for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both regular starters were practicing for the first time since missing last week's 34-0 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Gross was recovering from a concussion while Otah was nursing a sprained ankle.
If the offensive linemen are able to play, it should provide a boost for the Panthers against the Bucs' tenacious defense.
"It's always good to get guys back out there practicing, especially guys that have started for you previously," Carolina coach Jon Fox said.
