ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White missed practice on Thursday after suffering a minor head injury the day before.
White was involved in a violent collision with safety Lawyer Milloy during practice on Wednesday and was pulled for "precautionary reasons," according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"During practice, Roddy had a pretty good collision, and we held him out for part of the practice," Falcons head coach Mike Smith said.
While the fourth-year wideout was listed on the injury report with an unspecified head injury, it is not considered serious and White will not undergo any tests.
"Me and Lawyer collided yesterday and I felt a little fuzzy," White said. "We didn't do (any) test because I felt good. I guess they were just taking precautions."
White, who leads the team with 26 receptions and is third in the NFL with 454 receiving yards, is expected back on the practice field Friday and should play in Sunday's game against the NFC North-leading Chicago Bears.
