DENVER (Ticker) -- Former Denver Broncos running back Travis Henry was released from prison on Thursday after he posted a $400,000 bond on federal drug charges, according to the Denver Post.

Henry and co-defendant James Mack were indicted on cocaine-trafficking charges in Montana and are facing a minimum of 10 years in federal prison and up to life if convicted, as well as a $4 million fine. The two were arrested on October 1 following an alleged cocaine deal.

According to the report, Henry will be under electronic monitoring and home detention and cannot have any contact with Mack. Mack, who posted a $10,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Henry, who signed a five-year, $22.5 million deal with Denver prior to last season, was released on June 2. He ran 691 yards on 167 carries with four touchdowns in his one season with the Broncos. He has also reportedly fathered nine children with nine different women.
