The successful season continued last week as I won all but one of five selections. The best bet also came through again as Arizona crushed Buffalo. Love when feedack comes in criticizing the best bet. Provides me with extra motivation to do well.

HOUSTON -3 over Miami - I've already been burned twice by the Texans this season. I'll give them one more chance. For three quarters last week, the Texans dominated on both sides of the ball against the Colts. Then, they imploded in the fourth quarter. This week, I see them putting four quarters together. The Dolphins have been a major surprise, beating supposed heavyweights New England and San Diego in their last two games. Off those two games, the Dolphins could be in for a letdown against the winless Texans.

PICK: Houston, 23-17

SEATTLE -1 over Green Bay - Whoever loses this game will have major trouble recovering this season. Seattle played perhaps its worst game in the Mike Holmgren era last week in getting manhandled by the New York Giants. Things weren't much better for the Packers, who played poorly in a home loss to the Atlanta Falcons. In a game were both quarterbacks are banged up, I'll back the home team.

PICK: Seattle, 23-20

*BEST BET* Jacksonville +3 1/2 over DENVER - Very confident that the Jaguars will be able to get their running game going against a suspect Broncos front. The running game also should up some things up for David Garrard in the passing game. Denver is coming off its best defensive performance of the season. However, I still feel they are below average on that side of the ball. Even with it being a best bet, this will be a competitive game that comes down to who makes the big plays in the fourth quarter. Have a feeling the Jaguars will be the ones getting it done in the end.

PICK: Jacksonville, 24-23

CLEVELAND +9 over Ny Giants - Have a theory where in the previous week if a team scored more than 40 points, go against them in their next game. Everything points to the Super Bowl champion Giants rolling over the Browns, who have managed a mere 16 points in their two home games. When something looks obvious, go the other way. That's what I'll do.

PICK: Giants, 24-17

LAST WEEK: 4-1

SEASON: 15-8

BEST BETS: 4-1
