Browns TE Winslow hospitalized
Oct 10, 2008 - 9:18 PM BEREA, Ohio (Ticker) -- Cleveland Browns tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. was hospitalized Thursday night with an undisclosed illness.Browns coach Romeo Crennel on Friday said that Winslow spent Thursday night in the hospital and was scheduled to be released Friday.
However, The Gazette of Medina County reported that Winslow would remain hospitalized Friday night.
Crennel said earlier in the day that Winslow is questionable for Monday night's game against the New York Giants.
"He's truly 50/50," Crennel said. "Hopefully he'll be there. We should know more in the next couple of days."
Winslow, who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, leads Cleveland with 19 receptions for 170 yards and one score.
