INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai left Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens early in the first quarter with a hamstring injury.

Addai, who has gotten off to a slow start this season, carried only twice for three yards before limping off the field on the Colts' second series.

He did not return for the remainder of the first half, although his presence was not missed. Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes, helping the Colts build a 24-0 halftime lead.

Addai is the Ravens' leading rusher and has scored four touchdowns, but he entered Sunday's contest with just 213 yards on the ground - an average of only 53.3 yards per game.
