Chargers WR Chambers inactive vs. Patriots
Oct 12, 2008 - 11:37 PM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- San Diego Chargers wide receiver Chris Chambers is among the inactive players as the team hosts the New England Patriots on Sunday night.Chambers, who leads the team with five touchdown receptions, is listed as doubtful with a sprained left ankle. Buster Davis will start in his place.
New England will be without a pair of running backs as LaMont Jordan and Laurence Maroney were declared inactive.
The oft-injured Maroney has been bothered by a sore shoulder for much of the season, while Jordan was listed as doubtful with a calf injury.
Sammy Morris will start at running back for New England.
