ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) -- Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards, who is recovering from a concussion, returned to practice Monday.
Edwards suffered the injury in the first quarter against the Arizona Cardinals on October 5 after being hit and driven to the ground by Adrian Wilson. The NFL levied a $25,000 on Wilson for the hit.
Edwards had full participation in Monday's practice, putting him on target to start this weekend's game against the San Diego Chargers.
"As far as I'm concerned, yes," said Edwards when asked if expects to play Sunday. "We have some tests to run tomorrow and if those come back the way I think they're going to come back, we should be good to go Sunday."
After losing to Arizona, Buffalo enjoyed its bye last week.
Edwards, who appeared in 10 games as a rookie, has had a strong second season in leading the surprising Bills to a 4-1 record.
The team's third-round pick in 2007, he is completing 66 percent (81-of-122) of his passes with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
