Broncos WR Stokley has concussion

Oct 13, 2008 - 9:20 PM ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (Ticker) -- Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley has a concussion, the team announced Monday.

Stokley left Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars after receiving a blow to the head. Prior to the injury, Stokley caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler to open the game's scoring.

"We will get a better indication on Wednesday on where he is at," Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said. "He is going through all the test that you normally go through. He has had a concussion before, so he has had some tests previous to this. They have got a pretty good log on him and where he is at."

Stokley has 24 catches for 242 yards with two touchdowns this season.
