DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Cowboys' injured list just got longer.
The Dallas Morning News reported on its web site Tuesday that rookie running back Felix Jones will miss two to four weeks with a left hamstring injury.
Jones left Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals midway through the third quarter after suffering the injury on a 14-yard run. He finished the game with 22 yards on three carries, and has rushed 20 times for 266 yards and three touchdowns in his first season in the NFL.
There is more bad news for the Cowboys - punter Mat McBriar may be placed on injured reserve, which would end his season.
McBriar was originally expected to miss six to eight weeks with a right foot contusion suffered when his punt was blocked by Sean Morey on the last play of Sunday's setback.
However, the Morning News is reporting that McBriar endured a main fracture and two hairline fractures to the foot and is likely done for the year.
As if Jones and McBriar weren't enough, wide receiver Sam Hurd is expected to undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair ligaments in his left ankle and will miss six to eight weeks. Hurd sat out the first three weeks with a high ankle sprain but returned against the Washington Redskins in Week Four before aggravating the injury again on Sunday.
The trio of injuries comes one day after the Cowboys learned Tony Romo has a fractured pinkie finger on his throwing hand, which could sideline the Pro Bowl quarterback for four weeks.
