ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- When it rains, it pours.

Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl strong safety Roy Williams broke his right forearm for the second time this season in Sunday's 34-14 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

The Dallas Morning News reported that Williams, who sat out three games before returning Sunday, is expected to miss six weeks.

A five-time Pro Bowler, Williams previously broke the forearm in the Cowboys' 41-37 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week Two.

Williams' latest injury continues a calamitous stretch for Dallas (4-3), which has dropped three of its last four games.

The Cowboys already were without cornerback Adam Jones, who on Tuesday was handed a minimum four-game suspension by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for last week's altercation with his body guard.

Dallas also played Sunday's game without quarterback Tony Romo, who is sidelined with a broken pinkie on his throwing hand that he suffered in last week's 30-24 overtime loss in Arizona.

Forty-year-old quarterback Brad Johnson replaced Romo and made his first two start in two years, but was ineffective, throwing three interceptions.
