PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Eagles are getting reinforcements as midseason approaches.

Running back Brian Westbrook went through a full practice Wednesday and is expected to start Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Westbrook suffered two fractured ribs in the Eagles' 23-17 loss to Washington on October 5, forcing him to miss the following week's game at San Francisco.

Coach Andy Reid, though, said his Pro Bowl running back will be back in the starting lineup.

"Yeah, he's ready to go," Reid said.

Wide receiver Kevin Curtis, who has been sidelined the entire season since undergoing sports hernia surgery in August, also will start Sunday.

"I would say that he's going to be the starter," Reid said. "Will he be in there every play? No, he won't be in there every play."

It has been a frustrating start to the season for Westbrook, who also sat out Week Four with an ankle injury suffered the previous week. Nonetheless, he has scored six touchdowns and said he feels ready to go.

"I'm going to go out there and give it all that I have for as long as I can," Westbrook said. "I think that my ribs have done a great job, with me rehabbing with the training staff and trying to get them back to as close to 100 percent as I can."
