Panthers OLs Otah, Kalil listed as doubtful
Oct 24, 2008 - 5:50 PM CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Carolina Panthers will likely be without tackle Jeff Otah and center Ryan Kalil on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The linemen both missed their third consecutive practice Friday with ankle injuries and were listed as doubtful on the team's injury report.
"If they were ready to play and they were cleared and they were 100 percent, they would be playing," Panthers coach Jon Fox said. "It wouldn't do us any good to save them. There are only 16 opportunities, and this is a key one; it counts the same."
Otah has missed the last three weeks, while Kalil has been sidelined for the last two. Both are hoping to be back in two weeks after the club's bye.
