MIAMI (Ticker) -- Defensive tackle Jason Ferguson, the centerpiece of the Miami Dolphins' run defense, returned to practice Friday.
The 6-3, 305-pound Ferguson had missed the last two practices with an injury in his rib cage area. Now it appears as though Ferguson will be available Sunday when the Dolphins (2-4) host Marshawn Lynch and the surprising Buffalo Bills (5-1).
Ferguson left last Sunday's 27-13 loss to Baltimore during the first quarter. Following his departure, the Dolphins yielded 140 yards rushing, including 102 in the second half.
