Cowboys TE Witten taken to locker room for X-rays
Oct 26, 2008 - 5:49 PM IRVING, Texas (Ticker) -- Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten was taken to the locker room for X-rays on his ribs early in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.It was not clear when Witten aggravated the injury, which has plagued him for the past two weeks.
A Pro Bowler last season, Witten was replaced by rookie Martellus Bennett. The Cowboys did not disclose whether Witten would return.
