0 shoutsFLORHAM PARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The New York Jets placed running back Jesse Chatman and quarterback Erik Ainge on injured reserve Tuesday.
Chatman suffered a left knee injury in Sunday's 28-24 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The six-year veteran collected eight yards on four carries and one catch for three yards before leaving the game.
Ainge, who was selected out of Tennessee in the fifth round of the 2008 draft, has been inactive for all seven games this season with a right foot injury.
